Check out the plantings at the corner of Lily McCoy and Chatham Forest.
unfortunately, we planted Nandina, a very hearty and hard to kill plant that is now on North Carolina's Invasive Species List as it spreads easily killing plants which provide non-toxic berries to wildlife, including birds, which by the way, the Nandina plant's berries are toxic to some species of birds and other wildlife causing cyanide poisoning and a long drawn out painful death. Those birds who eat the berries and survive, deposit the berries in their waste helping to spread this invasive hard to kill plant resulting in wiping out native plants that feed our wildlife. GREAT CHOICE!!!
